Creating extra friend for sick children

The challenge

What adjustments can be implemented in healthcare facilities and hospitals to improve hospitality for non-verbal sick children and their families, with the aim of increasing their experience and quality of care?

The solution

Our concept We chose a badger because the badger is the most courageous animal in the animal kingdom. The patches are designed to make it easier for children to show where they are hurting. This can be in associated with certain colours. In doing so, we want to give the doctor a hand. With this he can show what will happen during an operation, fortunately the patches are easy to remove with Velcro. Finally, we will also design a few caps for the tie with which the children can show whether they feel like talking and whether they would like time to themselves.
